Deja Vu & Peace Is All We Need

18 years back, when I was in class 11th, I along with my friend Sandy (Sandeep Sharma) had formed a band called "Futurians".

Back then we had written a song called "Peace is all we need". No clue what inspired Sandy to start writting that song. Today while reading the song to Gamini (gave her all the lyrics we had written at that time couple of days back, as she has also started writing songs now), I just realised words written then is what we saw on the TV during Mumbai Carnage of 26/11. Each and every line reminded me of images seen on TV during those 3 days. Seemed like deja vu.


It reads like a poem written by a kids, but then again that's what we were then :)

After Juno earlier this year, really enjoyed watching "How To Lose Friends And Alienate People". Must see for anyone who loves movies. Enuf said. Gonna watch it again :)

Diwali Blast

Had a blast yesterday. After ages enjoyed Diwali, to the extent don't even remember when was last time before yesterday. Me, dad & Gulu spent almost an hour with crackers. Was such a blast.

Gamini now a days finds ticks on the dogs and pull them out. And I thought I had knack of finding them.

Never thought she would be chipping in daily chores at such an early age.

No clue why, just want to check on Purvi (from school days) & Sonal (From college days). Just want to know how they are doing in life. Tried searching for them for some time, but no luck.

Bought Gamini HER OWN ipod classic 120 GB today.

She is looking forward to owning HP TouchSmart PC. Will get her this year hopefully.

What a day

Am i Happy today, well that is a understatement and wrong question. Got custody of Gamini from court today. In all my research, couldn't find a single judgment of custody of minor girl child being given to the father. So couldn't have asked for anything more today.

Swamiji came to stay for a week with us yesterday and today the orders came. Is it a coincidence?

Gamini is ecstatic. She started jumping and dancing when I told her of the order. She hugged me and said "Didn't I tell you I'm going to be with you only".

Went out for dinner, had fun and she is sleepign like an angel.

All I can say is "Won the Battle, War is ON."

Great job by my lawyers, great support from Dad and Gamini and all friends and family that came out to support me. Wouldn't have been able to do it without you all.

Last but not least, wouldn't have been able to pull it off without the doings and lies of my ex-wife, oh wait divorce case is yet to start. ROFL.

Back to School

After 2 months holidays, Gamini goes back to school tomorrow. We had such a blast during the holidays. With Gamini around, I am living the childhood once again, with one difference, I can boss around the house, LOL. Looking forward to next holidays.

Summer Vacation Fun

Me and my baby are on Movie Marathon for last couple of days. Watching 3~4 movies a day (and night). What a joy. Man most of hindi movies are such crap.

She has already finished more then half of her summer vacation homework. We planning to hit the road in few weeks for vacation.

Her latest hobby is Nail Polish. Every day i take her nail polish off to apply new shade. Like her royal highness, she sits there and I am removing and applying Nail Polish. YEsterday night she was having late night sandwich, while I was applying nail polish on her feet. It is a blast. Yesterday we bought 10 new shades of nail polish. I am trying to convince her to buy Blue & Green shades and ues she bought Black.

She is developing great music taste. We almost have same taste. Everyday she wakes up to "Wakeup Little Sussie", then she listens to her playlist of 5 songs before she gets out of the bed. Playlist includes "Suzanna", "My Little Girl", "I Want Candy". "Please Forgive Me" and "Wonderful Tonight".

That reminds me time for the little Sussie to be woken up. ;)

Weekend with Gamini

Another fun filled weekend. Went to watch 'Boothnath' yesterninght with Gamini. Today we did shopping for Dad's Bday (for tomorrow). Right now father & daughter watching old Golmal. Soneone is missing all the fun and time with Gamini.

Went over for dinner with Gamini to Dynesty. Just two of us. We did this after sometime, and it was sheer fun. Had to be, she picked the place. Love you baby. Did our night ritual on our way back, Gamini had her ice cream and i had my coffee. Gamini just chnged into her night suit and time to hit the bed (for her) :).
